Cambria Hotel Louisville Downtown-Whiskey Row

We had a wonderful stay at the Cambria in Louisville. We were very pleased about the ease of their pet policy, we were incredibly comfortable, it was a convenient location, and most importantly for us the staff was amazing! After a day on Bourbon Trail we accidentally left a box with several bottles of Blantons bourbon on the sidewalk while unpacking our car. (Parking is limited in their garage if you arrive later in the evening/night but we didn’t have any problem finding nearby parking). Dereck who worked the front desk found and saved our bourbon box for us from what could have been an easy and seamless grab and go by anyone on the street. We were so grateful to Dereck, an honest Good Samaritan and treating us so kindly and with understanding while we were panicked looking for our bourbon. Thank goodness he had safely secured for us! Overall great experience would highly recommend. Welcoming and pleasant we would definitely stay again.

We had a really great stay at the Cambria Hotel in downtown Louisville. The design is simple yet sophisticated—modern without feeling cold—and the room was impressively quiet, which made a huge difference after a long day of travel. We were traveling with our French bulldog and the hotel was genuinely pet-friendly and accommodating, not just “pet-tolerant.” Staff were welcoming and helpful, and the overall experience felt easy and comfortable from start to finish. An added bonus for us was the on-site Tesla charger, which allowed us to charge our car overnight at no extra cost—such a convenience when traveling. We’d absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a calm, well-designed place to stay downtown.

Excellent location, only a block or two off of main street (where whisky row is). Great breakfast options too, and very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend it!

My family stayed here recently to attend a graduation. I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel on almost all fronts. Our hotel room was clean and tidy upon arrival, with comfortable beds and a well-designed bathroom. The staff was kind and attentive with every interaction pleasant. The drinks we had at the hotel bar were great and the service was top-notch. The lobby area was spacious and comfortable, with several tables, comfy chairs, and a nice fireplace. I also liked the added security feature of a room key being required to access all floors other than the parking garage and lobby. I gave four stays to the location instead of five due to the semi-secured parking lot. Hotel guests were required to use their door keys to access the lot with their vehicles, but the parking garage was open to non-guests on foot from several points. Two vehicles were broken in the overflow parking lot across the street during our stay. In terms of the hotel being close to downtown Louisville for Whiskey Alley, the Yum Center, various restaurants, distilleries, its great. A short walk to everything. As for the location in terms of security, I feel the parking lot should better secured.

Great, not quite boutique hotel within walking distance of the distillery district of Louisville and a lot off the other attractions. Room was nice and clean. Parking was partially covered and seemed relatively secure. Restaurant and coffee shop on site seemed pretty good but I didn't partake. Of course there was a great bourbon selection.

The reason why this hotel is short of a 5 star rating is no complimentary of anything. Not even bottled water. The room is very nice and modern. The lobby is exquisite . Has a bar restaurant in the lobby. Walking distance to a bunch on restaurants. I like it.

Very nice accommodations. Staff was very helpful. Warmer weather would have made it easy to walk to everything you would want to get to.
